1. MS Dhoni turns back the days with lightning-quick stumping
On third delivery of the 11th over, MS Dhoni executed a rapid stumping to get rid of Suryakumar. The right-hander failed to read Noor's googly, missing it by a big margin while stepping down the track in a bid to drive the ball over cover. However, the former CSK skipper whipped off the bails in a blink of an eye to catch him short.

2. Ruturaj Gaikwad dazzles with blazing half-century
Ahead of the ongoing IPL season, the CSK skipper was under the pump with a lackluster run during the List-A games for Maharashtra. However, that indecisiveness vanished during Gaikwad's fiery knock during the run-chase. He made full use of the powerplay, bringing up his half-century off 22 deliveries. He finished with 53 off just 26 balls.

3. Vignesh Puthur strikes thrice on IPL debut
Coming in for Rohit Sharma as the Impact Sub, Puthur made an instant impact. All three of wickets were of specialist batters - Gaikwad, Shivam Dube, and Deepak Hooda. The manner in which the young 23-year-old controlled his line amd length was commendable.
