IPL 2025: Funniest Memes from RCB vs DC Mid-Innings of Match 24

In Match No. 24 of IPL 2025 at the iconic M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) posted 163/7 after being put in to bat by Delhi Capitals (DC). What looked like a potential 200-plus total after the explosive start turned into an average effort.

RCB had a wonderful start to their innings, hammering 61 runs in the first 3.4 overs without losing a wicket. Phil Salt (37 off 17) and Virat Kohli (22 off 14) looked at their best, with he former doing the majority of the damage. But a mix-up between the two resulted in Salt’s run-out, which completely shifted the momentum of the innings.

Following the dismissal, the home team quickly came under pressure. Devdutt Padikkal fell for 1, and Kohli soon departed as well. Vipraj Nigam’s spell of 2/18 and Kuldeep Yadav’s 2/17 helped DC make a comeback in the middle overs.

Australian batter Tim David came to the rescue of his side with a late cameo of an unbeaten 37 off just 20 balls, including two fours and four sixes. His power-hitting in the final two overs gave RCB a much-needed relief and took them past the 160-run mark, a total that looked highly unlikely just a few overs earlier. Given the batting-friendly nature of the Bengaluru pitch, Capitals will be the happier side at the halfway stage.
