RJ Mahvash posted a heartwarming Instagram story involving Yuzvendra Chahal moments after the Punjab Kings' leg-spinner secured the Player of the Match accolade in Match 31 of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League. Chahal's four-wicket haul (4/28 in four overs) was one of the main reasons why PBKS secured a thrilling 16-run win against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Mullanpur Cricket Stadium on Tuesday, April 15.
The story on the social media platform involved a selfie with her rumoured boyfriend. It was a picture snapped way ahead of the game, with Chahal donning his PBKS kit. The image was a picture of the two smiling away, with Mahvash complimenting the immense skill of the highest wicket-taker of the IPL. Notably, the two have been spotted together on more than one occurrence after Chahal separated from his previous wife, renowned choreographer Dhanashree Verma.

With PBKS winning by 16 runs, they were successful in defending the lowest-ever total in the history of the IPL. Chahal's 4/28 which comprised a total of 14 dot deliveries was the central catalyst behind a win for the ages. With his latest performance in the marquee T20 league, Chahal extended his four-wicket haul tally to eight, equalling Sunil Narine's count.
Chahal scalped the wickets of Ajinkya Rahane (17 off 17), Angkrish Raghuvanshi (37 off 28), Rinku Singh (2 off 9), and Ramandeep Singh (0 off 1). Although he conceded 16 runs in his final over, it didn't matter at the end. Arshdeep Singh and Marco Jansen scalped the final couple of wickets of the oppostion to script PBKS' fourth win of the season.
PBKS' next couple of games involve taking on Royal Challengers Bengaluru, in Bengaluru on April 18 and in Mullanpur on April 20. Incidentally, they will take on KKR at the Eden Gardens on April 26 in what promises to be a mouth-watering reverse fixture.
