WATCH: Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill tease Siraj ahead of GT vs SRH clash
Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan will be among the two upcoming players to watch out for in the upcoming match between Gujarat Titans and Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Gujarat Titans (GT) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) crossed swords with each other at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, on Sunday, April 6. Ahead of the game, Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan were seen spending time together before the match during the practice sessions of both teams.
The duo were seen rating Mohammed Siraj’s technique as a batter. Kishan was seen judging the pacer’s footwork while he was batting in the nets and also making some funny remarks. Kishan also said that Siraj’s confidence will go down if he ever bowls to him while talking about his skills as a batter.
“Siraj ki batting dekh raha hoon, ball chahe idhar ho ya udhar ho, pair idhar hi hain (I’m watching Siraj’s batting. Whether the ball is here or there, his foot is always here),” Kishan said, as quoted by the Gujarat Titans video released on their official 'X' handle.
“Main toh achha hi rate karta hoon but match mein thoda, meri bowling mein toh bahut mushkil hai, uska confidence down ho hi jaata hai but batsman bahut achha hi achha hai (I rate him nicely, but in the match. Against my bowling it’s very difficult, his confidence does go down — but he is a very good batter),” Kishan added.
