Legendary former pacer and England's bowling consultant, James Anderson, was recently spotted bowling to batter Harry Brook in full steam. Notably, the 'Burnley Express' is currently 42 years old and hence it is commendable that despite being away from any cricket action, he pulled off bowling during net sessions with the same old intensity as he used to before bidding adieu to international cricket.

Notably, England are gearing up to lock horns with the hosts Pakistan in the upcoming second Test of the series in Multan, starting on Tuesday, October 15. Hence, as Anderson may have felt that the seam bowlers who had to bowl for longer durations during the flat track which was offered for the first Test, taking the bowling training duties on himself, only shows his greatness and unmatched hunger to remain involved in cricket in any capacity. As a result, a video surfaced on social media and gave fans a glimpse of the young Anderson from yesteryears.

Interestingly, the hosts have planned to have a spin-assisting strip for the upcoming Test at the same venue. Hence it will be interesting to see how James Anderson helps England in terms of bowling on such a surface. For the unversed, England humiliated Pakistan by beating them by an innings margin. The hero of the English batting was none other than Harry Brook (317 off 322 balls), who became the new 'Sultan of Multan' by surpassing the former Indian legend, Virender Sehwag (309 runs), with a memorable triple century.
