Jasprit Bumrah and wife Sanjana Ganesan blessed with baby boy

Star Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah recently returned home from Sri Lanka in between the Asia Cup 2023, citing personal reasons. The 29-year-old did not reveal the reason for his return to India at the time. However, his recent Instagram post has shed light on the matter.
Taking to social media, Bumrah shared some brilliant news with his fans. The 29-year-old announced the birth of his first child, a baby boy. Sharing a wholesome picture on Instagram, Jasprit Bumrah and his wife Sanjana Ganesan broke the news in a common post.
"Our little family has grown, and our hearts are fuller than we could ever imagine! This morning, we welcomed our little boy, Angad Jasprit Bumrah, into the world. We are over the moon and can’t wait for everything this new chapter of our lives brings with it, Jasprit and Sanjana," Bumrah captioned the post.
Bumrah made a comeback into the Indian team after a long hiatus as he struggled with injuries. The star pacer sustained a stress fracture in his lower back in 2022 and had been out of contention for selection ever since. However, the 29-year-old made a sensational return when India took on Ireland in a three-match T20I series in August 2023.
Furthermore, he was also selected in the Indian squad for the Asia Cup 2023. The star pacer did not get to feature with the ball in India’s first game of the competition when they took on Pakistan as the match was abandoned due to rain playing spoilsport.
Furthermore, with the ODI World Cup 2023 looming around the corner, Bumrah will be integral to the Indian team’s success in the tournament. Hosting the marquee event, India will begin their campaign by taking on Australia on October 8 in Chennai at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.
