Jemimah Rodrigues, the talented Indian cricketer, showcased her musical side in a delightful social media post on Monday, July 24, after India's tour of Bangladesh. The 22-year-old, known for her batting skills, impressed fans with her rendition of the popular retro Bollywood song, 'Jab Koi Baat,' originally sung by Kumar Sanu and Sadhana Sargam.

In the video, Jemimah looked charming in a white shirt as she flaunted her melodious voice. The post quickly gained popularity, receiving more than 50K likes within an hour. Her teammate Harleen Deol expressed her admiration, saying, "Oye hoye dhaakad girl nice voice," while Sushma Verma dropped a heart emoji to show appreciation.

For those unfamiliar with Jemimah's musical talent, her social media accounts are a testament to her love for music. Alongside her successful cricket career, the Mumbai-born player often shares videos of herself singing and playing the guitar.

Jemimah's match-winning abilities have made her a prominent figure in women's cricket. In T20Is, she holds the fourth-highest run record for India, amassing 1751 runs in 83 matches, including 10 half-centuries. Among Indian women cricketers, she is only behind Mithali Raj, Smriti Mandhana, and Harmanpreet Kaur in this regard.

During the recent Bangladesh tour, Jemimah showcased her prowess as she emerged as the highest run-scorer for India in ODIs, amassing 129 runs in three games at an impressive average of 64.50. Additionally, she displayed her all-round abilities, taking four wickets in the ODI series, which helped India Women level the series 1-1 before the third game ended in a tie.

However, Jemimah faced some challenges in the T20Is, scoring 11, eight and 28 in the three games respecitvely. Nonetheless, her contribution also included taking a wicket, and India clinched the T20I series 2-1.

Apart from her international achievements, Jemimah has also represented Delhi Capitals (DC) in the Women’s Premier League (WPL) inaugural edition. During the season, she scored 126 runs in nine games as her team reached the final. Although DC lost the summit clash to the eventual champions Mumbai Indians, Jemimah's performances were widely praised.
