Jemimah Rodrigues has reflected on her Test debut and India's record 347-run win in the one-off Test against England at the Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai.
The 23-year-old stated that the victory was so special for her and praised her fellow teammates for their contributions to leading the team to success. She went on to thank Smriti Mandhana for handing her debut Test cap, calling her as ‘big sister’.
Rodrigues posted a heartfelt note while sharing a photo with Mandhana on Instagram. “If this is what playing test cricket feels like, then I want more! The contribution of each and every member is what made this win so special. And what makes it even more special is me getting my debut cap from my Big Sister. PS: I put a lot of pressure the day before on @smriti_mandhana to deliver a good speech and I, after receiving my cap realized, she’s really good under pressure,” she captioned the post.
