One of the major news to come out today was from Kedar Jadhav about his retirement from all forms of cricket with immediate effect. Ravichandran Ashwin posted a picture of himself with a mug and a book in his hands. Importantly, the book appears to be an autobiography/biography of the cricketer. We reckon his fans would surely be looking forward to it.
The ICC covered the rumours circulating around who the next India head coach would be. Gautam Gambhir's name is the only one being floated around right now and the governing body has taken cognisance of the same. When it comes to the T20 World Cup, Sri Lanka take on South Africa in their tournament opener in New York today and the Lankan legends - Chaminda Vaas and Mahela Jayawardene - wished their team good luck for it.
