WATCH: Junior cricketers celebrate dismissal with 'Bhangra' dance, video goes viral
The clip has over 70,000 views and 8,000+ likes on social media, which features a young group of cricketers full of energy and enthusiasm.
Cricket is still the number one sport in India, and apart from the game’s stars, the growth of young players showing the right amount of enthusiasm and energy also ensures that the love for the game is never diminished.
One instance was captured on social media, where some pre-teen kids were seen playing a Test match against each other. A clip of the game has gone viral, where the two batters had a terrible mix-up, which led to an eventual run out when they attempted to run off an overthrow. Apart from the sloppy running between the wickets, it was what followed after the dismissal that caught the attention of fans, as the two batters were seen arguing with each other.
The fielding side, before knocking over the stumps at the striker's end, were seen doing ‘Bhangra’ as the batter looked distraught. Though this was not a high-level international match, it was still entertaining and enjoyable to watch the younger generation enjoy the game. The viral video has recently received over 70,000 views, and more than 8,000 people have liked the post on ‘X’ (formerly known as Twitter).

The Bhangra celebrations are still a treat to watch
There have been instances where Bhangra celebrations were seen in international cricket as well. One similar type of celebration took place after India won the T20 World Cup in the West Indies and the USA. Notably, this was Team India’s second T20 World Cup title, which they won after 17 years since the inaugural tournament back in 2007.
This is the perfect example that the passion for the game is always there, whether the players are young or old. The players will always try to enjoy every moment of the game, no matter at what level or on which ground they are playing.
