Indian fans are anxiously awaiting the return of KL Rahul, who has been dealing with fitness issues, hoping he can join the team soon. Meanwhile, Shreyas Iyer, who had his share of injury woes, has made a comeback and is currently taking part in the Asia Cup match against Pakistan.
Meanwhile, in the match at the Asia Cup, the Indian cricket team found themselves in a tough spot against arch-rivals Pakistan as they've already lost their top four batters, courtesy of some exceptional fast bowling displays by the Pakistani bowlers. Now Indian team will be looking to rebuild the inning with Ishan Kishan and Hardik Pandya on the crease.
The real highlight of the match till now has been the Pakistani bowlers. Shaheen Afridi made early inroads, dismissing the formidable duo of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. Speedster Haris Rauf followed with sheer pace, first sending Shreyas Iyer back to the pavilion and then cleaning up Shubman Gill.
Pakistan, who secured their first win against Nepal in the tournament opener, now aim to continue their winning streak against India, while India will be looking to start the campaign on a positive note.
