Singer and Actor Diljit Dosanjh performed in Kolkata on Saturday, November 30 for his Dil-Luminati Tour. On the following day, he shared a glimpse of the concert where he was talking to the Kolkata crowd and even chanted ‘Korbo Lorbo Jeetbo Re’, for which, he received a massive cheer from the locals. The star singer also talked about Shah Rukh Khan and noted that the KKR tagline is very meaningful and talked about the importance of hard work and not always focusing on the result.

KKR fans were enthralled following the shoutout. The video of the same went viral on social media, and the three-time champions also shared it on their platform. Meanwhile, Diljit also drew similarities between Kolkata and Punjab, from where he hails.

“Yeh bohut acchi tagline hai. Yeh KKR ki hai? Badi pyaari tagline hai. Especially, Shah Rukh Khan sir ki team hai toh waese acchi lagni thi hume kyuki hum sir k fan hai. Toh yeh bada accha mantra bhi hai ki aap apni mehnat kare, lade apne saath or chahe jeete na jeeteh yeh baad ki baat hai (This is a very good tagline. Is this KKR's? It's very nice. Anyway, we would have liked it especially because it is of Shah Rukh Khan sir's team and we are his fans. It's a very good mantra that you work hard, fight, and whether you win or not, that's a different matter),” Diljit said.

“Humara farz hai 100 per cent dena. Aap 100 percent mehnat karte hai toh obviously jeet ke paas koi option nahi reh jata. Toh yeh bada accha slogan hai (It's our duty to give our 100 per cent. If you work hard 100 per cent, then obviously there is no other option than to win. So this is a very good slogan),” he added.

Meanwhile, KKR recently bought back Venkatesh Iyer, Angkrish Raghuvanshi, Manish Pandey, Anukul Roy and Vaibhav Arora from the IPL Mega Auction. Apart from that, the franchise also signed Quinton de Kock, Anrich Nortje, Rovman Powell, Spencer Johnson, and Ajinkya Rahane among others. They have spent INR 23.75 crore to get back Venkatesh and will be hoping the all-rounder to play to his merit and bring them the fourth title in 2025.
