Virat Kohli is going through a rough patch with the bat in Tests. The batter has managed to scored only one fifty-plus score in the last 10 innings. Moreover, in the recently concluded series against New Zealand, the right-handed batter accrued just 93 runs in six innings. With the Indian team travelling to Australia for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, the stakes are high for Kohli to score some big runs.
With just less than two weeks to the first Test against Australia in Perth, Kohli along with wife Anushka Sharma and kids was spotted at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai. As the paparazzi spotted the couple departing from Mumbai, the former India captain requested the shutterbugs to not capture Anushka’s pictures who was accompanied by toddlers.
Here’s the video of Kohli’s request to paparazzi:

We seek privacy for our child, read Anushka and Virat’s statement
The couple has been clear on the stance that pictures of their beloved kids do not make it to the public domain. Anushka and Virat, who got married in 2017, were blessed with a baby girl, Vamika, in 2021. From the inception, the parents were critical of media personnel trying to click the baby’s pictures and later released a statement when things got out of hands.
“We seek privacy for our child and would like to do our best to give her a chance to live her life freely away from media and social media. As she is older, we cannot restrict her movement and hence your support is needed so kindly practice (refrain) in the matter. A special thank you to fan clubs and people of the internet for going out of your way to not post images. It was kind and highly mature of you," they had said in a statement.
