‘Mereko bhi darr lagta hai’ - Yashasvi Jaiswal’s hilarious reply to a Rohit Sharma fangirl
Yashasvi Jaiswal gave a hilarious reply to a Rohit Sharma fangirl ahead of the fourth Test in Ranchi
Yashasvi Jaiswal was asked by an Indian fan to ask Rohit Sharma to glance towards her ahead of the fourth Test between India and England in Ranchi. Yashasvi's reply was captured in a video and it's leaving everyone in splits. Theamusing incident took place on the opening day of the fourth Test of the series in Ranchi.
While Jaiswal was in his training kit and roaming in the balcony along with the rest of the Indian Team, a lady fan got involved in a hilarious banter with the young batting sensation. Jaiswal took a moment before concocting a witty comeback for her.
"Mereko bhi darr lagta hai," the youngster replied. [Yashasvi meant, "I'm also scared [of him]."
Interestingly enough, Rohit Sharma is generally someone who seems quite calm when he's off the field but when he's playing, he's as intense as they come. The legendary batter doesn't like to give an inch to the opposition and expects the same from his teammates.

Joe Root's 31st century saves England the blushes on Day 1
Joe Root struggled to play anywhere near his full potential in the first three Tests of the five-match series, scoring a meagre 77 runs in six innings. With England trailing 1-2 in the series, it was important for their premier batter to rise to the occasion.
On Day 1, Rohit lost the toss as Ben Stokes opted to bat first. Debutant Akash Deep was in red-hot form with the new ball as he dismantled the England top-order inside the first hour. The Indian spinners also came to the party as England slipped to 112/5 at the stroke of lunch.
Root and wicketkeeper Ben Foakes joined forces to register a vital 113-run partnership to pull England out of a wretched situation. After Foakes was dismissed for 47, Tom Hartley followed soon after. However, Root went from strength to strength, and ultimately notched up his 31st Test century. This was also his 10th century against India, which is the most by a player against the Asian giants.
The former England skipper remained unbeaten on 106 as the tourists finished the day at 302/7. Ollie Robinson has added 57 runs off 89 deliveries for the eighth wicket with Root and they will look to take England to 350 or maybe even 400 on Day 2. However, they will have to be wary once they resume their stay at the crease as the pitch is not a batting paradise by any stretch of the imagination.
