MLC 2023: Rashid Khan jump-scares Dwayne Bravo in hilarious moment

The inaugural season of the Major League Cricket (MLC) has provided the fans with many moments to cherish so far. With the competition’s knockout stages well underway, the pressure on the players is at an all-time high. With the second Qualifier of the tournament between MI New York and Texas Super Kings right around the corner, the stars have found a fun way to release some pressure ahead of the encounter.

MI New York’s star spinner Rashid Khan was recently captured pulling a hilarious prank on Texas Super Kings all-rounder Dwayne Bravo as he snuck up behind Bravo and jump-scared him.

Seeing Bravo jump attracted big laughs from the camera crew and Rashid. The two players then went on to hug each other after the moment. The video of the moment has been doing the rounds all over social media. Taking to Twitter, MI New York shared the hilarious clip and wrote, "Legends in stature. Boys by nature." 

MI New York and Texas Super Kings to play Challenger on July 29

With the MLC 2023 well into its knockout stages, MI New York and Texas Super Kings will be facing off in Challenger of the tournament on Saturday, July 29 at Grand Prairie Stadium in Texas. Texas Super Kings boast a better record in the tournament as compared to MI New York. However, they would be coming into the game on the back of a nine-wicket loss against Seattle Orcas. 

On the other hand, MI New York will be coming into the clash on the back of a brilliant 16-run win against Washington Freedom. Following their victory, the side will be brimming with confidence heading into the playoff game. With the game right around the corner, it could be interesting to see which side topples the other and is able to progress to the tournament finale.
