Notably, Dhoni made a name for himself in his early days by smashing gigantic sixes through his helicopter shot. He even once launched the ball out of the stadium putting all his might in a ‘helicopter shot’ during the seventh ODI against Australia in November 2013 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

The 42-year-old recently stepped down from CSK’s captaincy ahead of the ongoing IPL 2024 and passed on the baton to Ruturaj Gaikwad. The wicket-keeper batter rolled the clock back in time with his fiery knock of 37* (16) against Delhi Capitals during Match 13 of the season.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Nabi has played just one game for Mumbai this season and bowled two overs giving away 17 runs. The 39-year-old will be eager to make a good contribution to his team’s victory as MI take on Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in their next fixture on 11th April.

MI and CSK to lock horns on April 14

The Hardik Pandya-led side will further take on CSK in a much-awaited clash on 14th April. Notably, both MI and CSK are the most successful teams in IPL history having five titles each to their names. However, Mumbai have an upper hand over Chennai in head-to-head battles having won 20 out of the 36 matches between the two sides. They’ve further beaten them thrice in IPL finals in 2013, 2015 and 2019 respectively.
