MS Dhoni oozes calm as he celebrates successful landing of Chandrayaan-3

The nation of 1.4 billion soaked in immense pride and happiness when India successfully landed Chandrayaan-3 on the moon on 23^rd August at 6.04 PM. On the back of an impeccable job by ISRO scientists, India became the first country to land a spacecraft on the Moon’s South Pole, a lesser-explored area on the lunar surface. While the nation celebrated the momentous occasion in varied ways, former India skipper MS Dhoni joined the queue while being in his element.

Dhoni, whose patriotism has been second to none, could be seen celebrating Chandrayaan-3's success in a calm and composed style in a video doing rounds on the internet. While people around Dhoni could be seen celebrating enthusiastically, the Ranchi hero was seen calmly patting his right thigh. India etched its name in the annals of history by becoming the fourth nation to land on the moon successfully.

While the landing procedure began around 5:30 pm, it took Chandrayaan-3 around 30 minutes for the successful touchdown while crossing several stages. After the successful landing, several pictures of the moon's surface started doing rounds on the internet, leaving Indians ecstatic.

MS Dhoni expected to be seen in IPL 2024

The legendary skipper led Chennai Super Kings to the record-fifth title after beating Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2023 final while struggling with his knee during the entire season. While fans expected the season to be Dhoni’s swansong, the 42-year-old added that he would try for his fans to return in IPL 2024 as well. After the completion of the season, the CSK skipper underwent knee surgery and seems to be recovering well.

Despite not having age on his side, the CSK skipper leaves no stone unturned to be at his acrobatic best on the field. His masterclass behind stumps still stands unparalleled, which was evident in IPL 2023 finale too as he stunned Shubman Gill in 0.12 seconds to set the tone of the game.
