It was ebb and flow: Stoinis
Furthermore, Stoinis came forward to talk about his knock after the game. The star all-rounder opined that his knock was not all about just hitting the ball; he had to strategically plan his innings. Even reflecting on how there were some bowlers that they were cautious against and some bowlers that they were aggressive against.
“It is not just go go go. It was ebb and flow. There were some bowlers we targeted, some against whom we were cautious. Nicky P played a good innings, Hooda also. It ebbed and flowed. From the inside you are always structuring. You are liking some bowlers, not liking others much,” Stoinis was quoted as saying by IndiaToday.
Winning the game by six wickets, Lucknow Super Giants moved up to fourth place in the IPL 2024 standings. Moving past CSK, the side now has 10 points to its name, and are well in the race for the playoffs.
