Cricket South Africa (CSA) announced the tour on Friday afternoon through on social media, which added another assignment to India's hectic scheduled post the conclusion of the ongoing ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024.

For the uninitiated, captain of Namibia and star cricketer Gerhard Erasmus took to X (formerly Twitter) and urged the Indian board to consider playing warm-ups against them in the capital city of Windhoek. Erasmus believes that if BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) agrees for the same, it will surely boost the traction for the sport in the country.

The Proteas Men's X account read, “Cricket South Africa (CSA) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) are delighted to confirm the scheduling of yet another thrilling KFC T20 International (T20I) series, which will see India traveling to South Africa in November 2024” in a recent post, and the star all-rounder quoted the post and urged, “Hey BCCI, warm-up in Windhoek?
