In a recent turn of events, former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag showered praise on left-arm wrist-spinner Kuldeep Yadav, hailing him as "one of the least hyped guys." Immersing himself into the lively realm of social media, Sehwag highlighted Kuldeep's exceptional showing in the fourth Test match against England in Ranchi.

Sehwag praised Kuldeep Yadav, stating that despite being exceptional for years, he hasn't received the online hype or recognition he deserves. Sehwag pointed out that Kuldeep's impressive performances in cricket warrant more attention and appreciation than they've been procuring over time.

“When it comes to hype, one of the least hyped guys is Kuldeep Yadav. Been exceptional for many years, but never got an online fan club or people to hype him as the next big thing. Deserves a lot more credit and hype than he gets,” Sehwag posted on X (formerly known as Twitter).

It was hard on Kuldeep Yadav yesterday: Ravi Ashwin

The accolades didn't stop there. Spinner Ravichandran Ashwin joined the chorus, commending Kuldeep and the young wicketkeeper-batter Dhruv Jurel for their stellar 76-run partnership for the eighth wicket that played a pivotal role in saving the match. Ashwin, who bagged a five-wicket haul in the third innings, acknowledged Kuldeep's resilience and unwavering resistance with the bat and Jurel's serene and cool-headed approach while being out there in the middle.

"It was hard on him (Kuldeep) yesterday, we sent him to bat a bit too early than what he would have desired. I felt his defence was good, he showed a lot of grit and composure, kept the dressing room calm and it was even better from Jurel I thought."

"For someone who was playing just his second Test match, he showed great composure, trusted his defence, had a great gameplan, did not go bonkers, picked the right bowlers to hit and yeah, it gave us a great boost. We batted almost until lunch, if we had given up even 70-80 runs, the thought when we went back to the hotel last night, we would have taken it with both hands," said Ashwin, as quoted by NDTV.
