The Indian team put forth a sensational performance in every department, whether that’d be with the ball, the bat, or in the field. An all-round performance helped them register their third consecutive win of the tournament.

Furthermore, owing to the brilliant showing, ace Indian batter and wicketkeeper KL Rahul was handed the award of the best fielder of the game in the presentation ceremony of the Indian dressing room. In a video shared by the official account of the Indian cricket team on their Instagram handle, fielding coach T. Dilip was seen announcing the winner.

In the video, all-rounder Shardul Thakur is seen handing the medal to KL Rahul as the rest of the Indian contingent cheered him on. The first recipient of the medal was star batter Virat Kohli, who earned his medal after an exceptional performance in the field against Australia in Chennai on October 8.
