India cricketer Rishabh Pant is currently recovering from multiple injuries he suffered in a deadly accident he met with on December 30 last year. Perhaps, he underwent multiple surgeries and has been out of all the cricketing action since then. Reportedly, he won't be returning to the field at least for next eight months and it remains to be seen if he will be fit for the World Cup in India later this year.

However, Rishabh Pant has made it a point to keep his fans updated in terms of his recovery. On February 10, he posted his pictures on Instagram trying to walk with crutches. He underwent a surgery for torn ligaments recently and it seems he is slowly getting back to walking. "One step forward, one step stronger, one step better," Pant captioned his Instagram post.

Rishabh Pant was involved in a car accident while travelling from Delhi to his hometown. He was airlifted from the Max Hospital in Dehradun, where he received treatment, to Mumbai's Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, where he underwent additional knee surgery.
With Rishabh Pant sidelined for the major part of the season, KS Bharat, the Andhra-born wicketkeeper, was given the opportunity and made his Test debut for India against Australia in the first Test of the Border Gavaskar Trophy in Nagpur. India are currently in a very strong position after dominating yet another day's play at the VCA Stadium.
The Rohit Sharma-led side completely outclassed the Australian attack and lead by 144 runs at Stumps on Day 2 to pile on the pressure onto the visitors on a Nagpur surface which is keeping low and could play a few tricks going forward.
