The five-match ODI series between Pakistan and New Zealand came to an end with the Men in Green clinching the win in the first four matches and New Zealand winning the final game of the series. However, after the match, Pakistan skipper Babar Azam engaged in funny banter with a reporter in the post-match press conference.

The reporter mistakenly addressed Babar as Imam, which made the Pakistan skipper quickly correct him on his mistake. Furthermore, the 28-year-old even insinuated that everyone has been giving too much attention to Imam-ul-Haq which might be following the opening batter’s controversial tweet recently.

The 27-year-old played the first three matches of the ODI series between Pakistan and New Zealand. However, despite excellent performances, he was dropped from the side for the last two matches of the series. Following his absence from the last two games, Imam tweeted, "‘Life is an unexpected journey, so never expect anything from anyone'. Be patient; Allah is watching."
