Punjab Kings locked horns with Royal Challengers Bangalore in Match 27 of the Indian Premier League 2023. In a funny incident during Punjab's chase, Virat Kohli and Glenn Maxwell brought fun and games to the Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali on Thursday, April 20.

Harshal Patel bowled a full toss around middle and leg stump to Jitesh Sharma, which was given out by the umpire. It certainly looked plumb in front to the naked eye with Jitesh moving across towards his off-pole, but the wicketkeeper-batter challenged the umpire's call.

During the DRS process, Virat Kohli and Glenn Maxwell were playing Stone Paper Scissors and having some fun. Eventually, the decision was overturned as the ball was going down leg, and Jitesh Sharma survived.

Siraj seals the deal away from home for RCB

Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli got RCB off to a sensational start on a surface that was slightly on the slower side. The duo added 137 for the first wicket before Virat Kohli was sent packing by Jitesh's brilliance. Maxwell endured a rare failure in this edition as he was dismissed for a golden duck. RCB eventually scored 174/4 in their 20 overs which seemed to be above par with regard to how the surface behaved.

Mohammed Siraj has been an absolute delight to watch with the new ball in recent times, and the same was on show in Mohali. Siraj pinned Atharva Taide on just the second ball of the chase for just four. Siraj struck again in his second over as he sent Liam Livingstone for an early shower in his first IPL game in this edition of the competition.

The 29-year-old showed his class yet again, but this time around, at the death, picking up Harpreet Brar and Nathan Ellis to bag an incredible four-wicket haul to give RCB a convincing 24-run victory.
