Karun Nair is in the form of his life and has racked up astounding numbers in the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024-25t. The right-handed batter has amassed a whopping 752 runs at a mindboggling average of 752 and a strike rate of 125.96 and a highest score of unbeaten 163 runs in seven innings.
The 33-year-old was sidelined after he played six Tests and two ODIs for the Indian team. He even smashed an unbeaten 303 against England in what was just his third Test. As the batter is in search for a redemption, the legendary Sachin Tendulkar has heaped praises on him. The former India cricketer also added that, the performance by karun is the fruit of "immense focus and hardwork".

Karun Nair and Mayank Agarwal brace for ultimate showdown
Speaking of Karun’s performance, in seven innings he has batted in, he has smashed five centuries and one half-century. The next to him in the list is Karnataka captain, Mayank Agarwal, who has scored 619 runs at an average of 103.16 in nine innings. Agarwal has smashed four centuries and one half-century with a highest score of unbeaten 139.

Karun, who hails from Karnataka and represented the state, changed his allegiance and joined Vidarbha ahead of 2023-24 domestic season. Karnataka and Vidarbha are poised to tussle in the final of the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024-25 and the contest has commanded attention from the cricket fanatics with lots at stake.
