[Pictures] Virat Kohli reveals fresh look for IPL 2025

Star Indian and Royal Challengers Bengaluru batter, Virat Kohli, is doing the rounds on social media. Ahead of the 18th edition of the Indian Premier League, images of his freshly chopped hair and chiselled beard are going viral on social media. 

Prominent celebrity hairstylist, Aalim Hakim, posted pictures of Kohli's dazzling presence on his Instagram feed. The four-slide post captured all the angles from which Kohli's new look could be captured, with netizens buzzing with awe over the charming sleek look of the ace athlete.

According to the location on the Instagram post as well as the backdrop of the images in the post, it is clearly evident that Kohli's grooming session was conducted in Dubai. Notably, Hakim's footprint is global and he has opened several outlets in countries other than India.

Kohli recently featured for India in the recently-concluded Champions Trophy title triumph. He had quite a decent run with the bat, registering 218 runs in five innings, comprising one half-century and one century each. Although he did not click in the final of the 50-over tournament, India ended up winning the hard-fought battle via a four-wicket margin at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday, March 9.

Speaking of Kohli's cricketing endeavours in IPL 2025, the seasoned campaigner will represent RCB for the 18th season on the trot. The former skipper was one of the three players to be retained by the three-time finalists alongwith skipper, Rajat Patidar, and left-arm pacer, Yash Dayal, ahead of the upcoming edition's mega auction which was conducted in Jeddah in November 2024.

The dynamic batter is currently leading the run-scoring charts for RCB in the IPL. He was the leading run-getter in the previous edition of the cash-rich tournament too. The franchise would be banking on him to come to the fore and reverse their fortunes, as they gear up for an action-packed next couple of months.
