MS Dhoni retired from international cricket on August 15, 2020. Since then, he has only played in the Indian Premier League. However, his popularity hasn't diminished at all.

Fans wait with bated breath to catch a glimpse of Dhoni. Any photo that emerges on social media of the legendary cricketer goes viral within a few minutes. Now, the latest pictures of Dhoni on social media are setting fans into a frenzy as the wicketkeeper-batter is seen sporting a ponytail.\

Cricket lovers will remember how Dhoni sported long hair during his early days in international cricket. His look created quite a rage back in the day as many people took inspiration and sported a similar hairstyle as Dhoni. After leading the 'Men in Blue' to the T20 World Cup title in 2007, the talismanic cricketer trimmed his hair down. While many fans loved his new look, others missed his trademark locks.

Over the years, Dhoni has created major waves not just with his explosive batting or his dexterity behind the stumps, but also by sporting new hairstyles every now and then. This new ponytail look might just be the new fashion statement from the trailblazing trendsetter.

David Warner picked MS Dhoni as the greatest finisher of all time

The Australian opener, David Warner, is set to play his third ODI World Cup next month. He has played a lot of games against Dhoni in international cricket as well as in the IPL. There have been instances when Dhoni has used his sharp captaincy skills to plot Warner's dismissal. However, the 36-year-old has also been able to come out on top on a number of occasions against the Indian icon.

During a rapid-fire session on JioCinema, Warner was asked to name who according to him is the greatest finisher in world cricket. The southpaw didn't hesitate in naming Dhoni. “For me, it’s MS Dhoni,” Warner said during the Question-Answer session.
