India cricketer Radha Yadav has extended her heartfelt gratitude to the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) for their timely rescue efforts during the recent floods in her hometown Vadodara. The 24-year-old on Wednesday, August 28, shared a video on her Instagram story to highlight the situation in her city.

She mentioned being stuck in a ‘pretty bad situation’. In her video, it was spotted that some NDRF officials were

carrying a few people on a boat as buildings, roads and vehicles remained inundated. “We are Stuck in a Very bad situation. Thank you so much #NDRF for rescuing us,” Radha wrote on her Instagram story.

As per reports, several cities in Gujarat are facing heavy rainfall, which is creating a flood-like situation in the state. In Vadodara particularly, the low-lying areas were flooded after the Vishwamitri river overflowed and the water entered residential space.

Earlier, former cricketer Irfan Pathan also warned everyone to stay inside because of the flood. He added that the flood was spreading and asked everyone to stay safe.
