The ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 is all set to get underway from October 05 with the opening game between England and New Zealand at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Ahead of the mega event, fans are eagerly waiting for the official theme song of the tournament. The wait is finally going to end on Wednesday, September 20 as the ICC (International Cricket Council) is all set to release the official anthem of the World Cup.

The song titled ‘Dil Jashn Bole’ has been composed by renowned music director Pritam Chakraborty and will feature Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh. Some reports also claim that Indian wrist spinner Yuzvendra Chahal’s wife and dancer Dhanashree Verma is also likely to feature in the music video.

ICC took to X to share the exciting news with the fans and wrote, ‘The greatest cricketing Jashn is almost here, 12 pm IST tomorrow! #CWC23 👀’

Notably, fans want composers to recreate the magic of the 2011 World Cup theme song ‘De Ghuma Ke’ by Bollywood music directors trio Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy. Ahead of the mega event, clips of ‘De Ghuma Ke’ are being widely circulated on social media and fans are demanding a similar song which encapsulates the euphoria of the World Cup like no other.
