Veteran India all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin, known for his exceptional bowling capabilities is a man of many talents. One of the things that has made Ashwin known across the globe has been his repertoire of running out non-strikers for leaving the crease early.

However, Ashwin got a taste of his own medicine during the TNPL 2024 clash between the Dindigul Dragons and the Nellai Royal Kings. As Dragons came out to bat first, Ashwin stepped out of his crease, and left-arm spinner Mohan Prasath noticed.

Seeing the bowler stop, Ashwin quickly halted his movement. The replay did show that Ashwin had his bat on the crease, which saved him from being run out. The clip of the moment has been going viral all over social media and is a neat throwback to Ashwin dismissing Jos Buttler during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019.

Nellai Royal Kings breeze past Dindigul Dragons
