Ravindra Jadeja likes controversial post about feeling ‘pain, trauma' in CSK under MS Dhoni's captaincy

Star India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has been one of Chennai Super Kings' (CSK) top performers in the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL). In CSK's previous clash against Delhi Capitals (DC) at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, Jadeja scored 21 runs, picked one wicket and conceded just 19 runs in his four-over spell and eventually won the Player of the Match award. Notably, it was the third time he received the award in the ongoing season.

In the 2022 edition of the IPL, Jadeja was named as the CSK skipper, failed as a captain and stepped down from the role midway. However, there are doubts about whether Jadeja is really happy with the four-time champions. Now speculations arose on social media after he liked a controversial post that talks about his "pain inside" and the "trauma" at the CSK camp.  

After winning the Player of the Match award, Jadeja said that if he comes to bat first, fans chant 'Mahi Mahi' as he feels that they want him to get out earlier.

"If I come to bat early, they all chant 'Mahi Mahi' and pray to see MS Dhoni; they all will wait for me to get out (laughs)," Jadeja said. 

While sharing Jadeja's comments, a Twitter user named Rajkumar shared a post on the microblogging platform mentioning his pain inside and trauma, and Jadeja liked it. 

"Jaddu saying this with a smile but lot of pain inside... Belive me it's a trauma ! Imagine your own team spectators not supporting you waiting for your wicket! Still criticizing you even after winning 3 man of the matches ! @imjadeja you are prince of @ChennaiIPL," the user's tweet read.

The 34-year-old has picked 16 wickets from 12 matches at an average of 19.19 and an economy of 7.14 in the ongoing edition of the IPL. He has also performed well with the bat, scoring 113 runs from 12 innings batting lower down the order.
