The Indian team has found itself in a very precarious situation in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25. Having won in Perth and lost in Adelaide, Rohit Sharma and co. are looking to go for a draw as day 5 of the ongoing third Test approaches.

However, amidst the chaos, veteran India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has managed to capture the headlines. During the third Test, Jadeja was spotted with a unique bat with 'Marwadi Stallion' engraved on it. It is worth noting that Jadeja is a huge fan of horses, and he seems to have paid tribute to the horses with a special bat.

As for the third Test between Australia and India, the clash has been hanging in the balance. The series score reads 1-1 after both India and Australia have managed to register convincing wins in the first two matches, respectively. However, the third Test of the series has been ridden with rain.

The Aussies managed to post a total of 445 runs in the first innings despite the constant interruptions. Furthermore, the hosts limited the Indian team to a subpar total as well. By the end of day 4, the Indian team’s score read 252/9.

The side’s top-order failed to go big, except KL Rahul, who scored 84 runs in 139 deliveries. Ravindra Jadeja played a marvellous knock of 77 runs in 123 deliveries. It was Akash Deep and Jasprit Bumrah who helped India avoid the follow on and keep the hopes for a draw alive.

With the WTC final qualification hanging in the balance, India will hope to go for a draw and win the remaining clashes of the series. However, in such a case, India will have to depend on the results of other teams, and hope for the best case scenario.
