Ravindra Jadeja visits Matana Madh temple ahead of England Tests

Star Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was recently seen at the Matana Madh Temple in Gujarat with his wife Rivabaz ahead of India’s five-game Test series against England starting January 25. The pictures of the same were shared by Jadeja’s better half on her Instagram handle as the couple posed in front of the deity in the temple. 

Meanwhile, the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) recently announced India’s squad for the first two Tests against England, and the squad includes four spinners. Kuldeep Yadav, R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, and Axar Patel will look to take the advantage of home conditions and test England.

India look to clinch Afghanistan series

Currently, the Indian team is hosting Afghanistan in a three-game T20I series. After drawing the two-game Test series against South Africa, the Men in Blue got off to a brilliant start against Afghanistan as they put in an exceptional performance in the first T20I in Mohali.

Limiting Afghanistan to a total of 158 runs, it was Shivam Dube’s brilliant unbeanten 60-run knock that helped the hosts chase down the target and win the game by six wickets.

Both sides will continue their series by facing off in the second T20I at the Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore on Sunday, January 14. India will have the chance to clinch the series. However, the visitors will not be keen on making things easy for the hosts, and the side will look to put in their best performance to level the series.
