Pakistan held their nerves in a heart-stopping encounter against arch-rivals India in the Super Four round game of the ongoing Asia Cup. The winner was determined only off the penultimate delivery of the game with Iftikhar Ahmed slamming a low full toss straight down the ground for a couple of runs only for the Pakistan dressing room to be elated with the win.
After the match, the official Twitter handle of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) posted a video of the dressing room of the Men in Green and how players went through emotions during the last over. The action was thrilling in the middle with Arshdeep Singh redeeming himself after conceding a boundary.
The victory seemed easy for Pakistan with two runs needed from four balls. But the left-arm pacer delivered a dot ball and then pinned Asif Ali in front of the stumps. Things were tensed at this stage in the Pakistan dressing room with Babar Azam standing while the likes of Shadab Khan, Mohammad Hasnain, Haris Rauf sitting quietly.
However, as soon as Iftikhar Ahmed smacked the winning runs, Babar and Shadab screamed in delight to celebrate the moment and the customary handshakes followed. The entire Pakistan dressing room was elated and certainly, the players were happy after chasing down 182 runs in the final over.

Round 3 of India-Pakistan possible?
Well, it is a baffling fact that India and Pakistan have never met each other in the Asia Cup final. But this might happen in the ongoing edition. If India manage to win both their remaining matches and Pakistan manage to beat Sri Lanka, then the arch-rivals will face again in the summit clash on September 11. Having said that, Sri Lanka team is playing some excellent cricket and India will face them next on September 6.
