The Asia Cup 2023 is right around the corner; the tournament is all set to begin on August 30 with Pakistan and Sri Lanka co-hosting the proceedings of the competition. With the tournament rapidly approaching, the Indian team is hard at work, preparing themselves to take on some of the mightiest teams on the continent.
The side is currently in Alur, Karnataka, as they are preparing for a training camp to better prepare themselves. However, amidst the hard-working players, star Indian wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant was spotted in the camp as well. In a clip that has been doing the rounds all over social media, Pant was seen greeting his teammates and joking around with them in the camp.
Pant was seen messing around with Kuldeep Yadav, sitting alongside Shardul Thakur, and spectating the players with head coach Rahul Dravid in the viral clip. The 25-year-old is on his road to recovery as he was injured in a horrendous car accident in December 2022 and has been out of contention for selection ever since. The 25-year-old will miss the ODI World Cup 2023 but is expected to be back soon in the team.
