The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season has been a rollercoaster ride for the Delhi Capitals (DC) so far. After a slow start, the team is now determined to bounce back strong as they prepare to take on the Gujarat Titans (GT) on April 17th. Recently DC's skipper Rishabh Pant was vocal about his trust in the team's process.
Pant's return to the IPL stage has been a highly anticipated one, as the wicketkeeper-batter had to overcome a near-fatal accident that kept him sidelined for 14 months. However, since his comeback, the 26-year-old has shown glimpses of his true potential, scoring 194 runs and registering scores of 51, 55, and 41 in three out of his last six innings.

Despite the Capitals' initial struggles, Pant remains optimistic about the team's chances. In a recent interview with Star Sports, the flamboyant wicketkeeper batter emphasized the importance of the team's process in creating a positive environment.
"I think it is a long process that we have been working in Delhi Capitals, the process is for creating a good environment here in Delhi so that we perform well, we get a good mindset, they get good facilities to prepare, it has been a constant effort from the management, captain, and Ricky Ponting. We sat down and spoke about how can we create a good environment in Delhi," he said.

I know results matter: Rishabh Pant
He also spoke about the trust between the players and the process the Delhi-based franchise is following for better results.
"I know results matter, but you will know when you work on a process, that you need to do some changes and you know where those changes need to be done so that it helps you. but if you are not in a process and you are working hard then you are not aware of where you are going with the game," he added.
"But now we have created a process in Delhi Capitals, and look after where the player is coming from, we need to give him this thought process, we need to help him understand these roles, these small things, and the trust factor between the players, these small things play a major role," he concluded.
As the Capitals prepare to take on the Titans, Pant's trust in the team's process will be crucial. The team's ability to adapt and execute their game plan will be tested, but with Pant's leadership and the support of the management, the Capitals are determined to make a strong comeback and make it their third win of the season.
