India wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant, who is undergoing rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru, has been making tremendous recovery so far after meeting with a horrific car accident in December last year.
The youngster, who frequently posts health updates on social media, has come up with another one about his recovery. Pant took to his official Instagram on June 14 to share a clip in which he can be seen climbing stairs without any assistance. The southpaw also shared a story on Instagram in which he could be seen stretching with the help of stick at the NCA.
Sharing the video, Pant captioned it, "Not bad yaar Rishabh. Simple things can be difficult sometimes."
Earlier, the cricketer underwent surgery on his medial collateral ligament (MCL) and anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). However, it was the keeper-batter's posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) that caused trouble. As per recent reports, he was told that a second surgery on the PCL might be necessary, but it has been ruled out.

Pant suffered injury during horrific car accident last year
Pant suffered severe injuries during a horrific car accident on December 30, 2022, while travelling from Delhi to Roorkee to visit his mother. His car collided with a road divider and caught fire on the Delhi-Dehradun highway. Since then, the regular skipper of the Delhi Capitals (DC) has not competed in any competitions.
In his absence, veteran Australian batter David Warner led Delhi in the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL) season. However, the Capitals had a dismal season in the IPL 2023, finishing in ninth place in the 10-team tournament. Notably, the Ricky Ponting-coached side have won only five of their 14 matches in the 16th edition of the lucrative league. Meanwhile, Pant is lilely to remain out of action until at least the end of this year, with no certainty around his return as of now.
