Veteran Indian batter and skipper Rohit Sharma is widely regarded as one of the best batters in world cricket. Over the years, the seasoned batter has had many memorable moments throughout his career, which has lasted for over 16 years now. Recently, the 36-year-old sat down for an interview during his cricket academy launch event in the USA, where he highlighted the best five moments that he has experienced in his career.
The Indian skipper picked India’s ICC T20I World Cup win in 2007, his brilliant century on his Test debut, India’s historic win at the Gabba in 2021, and many more. Furthermore, Rohit also named his 123-run stand with the legendary Sachin Tendulkar in the summit clash of the Commonwealth Bank series against Australia in 2008. Where Tendulkar amassed 117 runs, Rohit’s knock of 66 runs is not forgotten as well.

Rohit Sharma to return for Asia Cup 2023
It is worth noting that Rohit Sharma is not included in the Indian squad for their ongoing five-match T20I series against the West Indies. The 36-year-old is expected to come back into the squad for the upcoming Asia Cup 2023, which is scheduled to begin on August 30.
Speaking of the series between the West Indies and India, the visitors came into the T20I series on the back of wins in the Test and ODI games. However, the Windies managed to make an excellent comeback and managed to register a victory in the first T20I.
Led by Rovman Powell, the Windies outclassed team India and put forth a sensational performance to win the first game. They will hope for a similar performance in the forthcoming matches and will hope to take home the series as well.
