The Team India skipper, Rohit Sharma, took to his social media handle to share his transformation picture on the occasion of his 16 years in international cricket. Since his debut in 2007 under current head coach, Rahul Dravid's captaincy, Rohit has flourished into becoming arguably one of the best cricketers of all time.
Making massive strides in his professional career, both for team India and Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL), Rohit has garnered massive limelight and established himself for his six-hitting skills, his elegance and leadership.
Having completed his 16 years in international cricket, Rohit took to his Instagram and posted a story which consisted of an image. Rohit shared a transformation picture from 2007 to 2023, with no caption but with the emojis of the Indian flag and a blue heart that signifies the primary colour of the Indian jersey.

The 36-year-old has appeared in 243 ODIs, 148 T20Is, and 50 Tests and has collected 9825, 3853, and 3437 runs, respectively. He also has 30 centuries and 48 fifties in ODIs, four tons and 29 fifties in T20Is, and nine tons and 14 half-centuries in Test cricket.
In the IPL, Rohit has five titles as a captain with Mumbai Indians (2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, 2020), and one as a player with the Deccan Chargers in 2009. In addition to this, in 2015, he received the coveted Arjuna Award, the ICC Men's ODI Cricketer of the Year in 2019, and the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna in 2020.

Since taking over the leadership reins of the national team, he led team India to the semi-final of the ICC T20 World Cup in 2022 and the summit clash of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2021-23 cycle. As his illustrious career is nearing its final lap, Rohit will be keen to add a major trophy before he calls time on his professional career. The skipper will next be seen in action in the forthcoming tour of the West Indies, wherein they lock horns with the latter in a multi-format series, scheduled to begin in July.
