The celebrations have been exuberant, with the Indian team engaging in spirited festivities in the Caribbean, including a memorable night-long party at the Hilton Hotel in Bridgetown, Barbados.
Numerous photos were taken with the trophy, both on the ground after the ceremony and elsewhere, capturing players along with their families and support staff, all celebrating this joyful and triumphant moment for the team. The excitement was palpable, with praise pouring in from all quarters—wives, former players, pundits, and fans. Social media was awash with waves of positivity regarding this achievement.
There was also an indelible instance when skipper Rohit Sharma posted a picture of the trophy on his bedside table, the darkness illuminated by the flash of his phone, revealing his joyous, satisfied expression. In a similar tradition, Suryakumar Yadav and his wife, Devisha Shetty, shared a photo with the trophy placed between them as they lay in bed, symbolizing their joint achievement. Both pictures quickly went viral on social media, generating immense engagement and traction.

Similarly, on their flight back to India, the two Mumbaikars once again showcased their camaraderie by sharing a picture of themselves with the gleaming trophy while Surya pointed towards it. Interestingly, the team was initially scheduled to depart for India earlier. However, their plans were delayed due to Hurricane Beryl, which struck the Caribbean islands, causing a postponement.
Rohit and Surya emerged as the top two run-scorers for their team, amassing 257 and 199 runs respectively from eight innings.
