There are some big legends in the game of cricket who are loved by the fans and one of the most respected cricketers in Indian cricket is Sachin Tendulkar. The Master Blaster still holds some of the biggest records in the game which includes the most runs in international cricket and the most centuries as well.

Though Sachin Tendulkar is no longer playing and has been retired from the game for more than a decade, he is still considered a legend and has been a part of some global events. The 51-year-old was recently seen at the Rashtrapati Bhavan where he and his family which included his wife Anjali Tendulkar and daughter Sara Tendulkar met India President Droupadi Murmu. Tendulkar attended the event as a personal guest of the President of the Rashtrapati Bhavan Vimarsh Shrinkhala which featured some prominent figures. The President also shared a post with the Tendulkar family where she also mentioned the interactive sessions with the sporting legend as well.

“Cricket legend Shri Sachin Tendulkar along with his family members called on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Tendulkar speaks on understanding teammates

Speaking of the interactive sessions at the Rashtrapati Bhavan Tendulkar talked about how sports treat everyone equally and how it helps you to understand teammates where he gave examples of dealing with Virender Sehwag who was one of his long-standing opening partners throughout his career and his story about Yuvraj Singh during the 2011 World Cup when the talented southpaw was battling cancer.

“With Sehwag, he would often do the opposite of what I wanted. So, if I wanted him to defend for a few overs, I would tell him, 'Viru, go and start blasting the bowlers.' He would then say, 'No paaji, I think I should defend for four overs first and then attack.' I had to say the opposite to get the best out of him, and I would smile, knowing I had achieved what I wanted," said Tendulkar.

“I called Yuvi for dinner and asked him why he seemed low on energy. He said, 'Paaji, I am not timing the ball well.' I told him to forget about batting and focus on fielding, setting small goals. I reassured him, saying, 'Yuvi, you will matter when it matters,' and soon, he had the spring back in his stride," Tendulkar added.
