Shah Rukh Khan had a mixed day during the match between KKR and RR at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. For most parts, KKR dominated the game over RR. However, a great knock from Jos Buttler ensured the visiting side to register most successful chase in the IPL history. The reaction of the KKR owner during the match has gone viral on X.
On the social media platform, the images of Shah Rukh's contrasting emotions have gone viral. Users have noted the peak joy of SRK during the first inning when Sunil Narine scored his maiden T20 hundred. On the other hand, the fans witnessed the sad face of Bollywood Badshah who had to witness a quick turnaround by RR.
At one stage in the run chase, RR was reduced to 125/6 and needed 99 runs in the last 7 overs. From there, Rovman Powell and Jos pulled off an insane run chase. Khan sported a concerned look on his face with each passing over. The focus of the cameraman suggested that the KKR owner did not expect the turnaround from RR.

Sunil Narine's efforts go in vain
In the last over, nine runs were needed. Varun Chakravarthy was asked to bowl. In the very first ball, Buttler smashed a boundary and nearly sealed the deal. Shah Rukh was visibly distraught at that point. Fans took to social media and felt sad for their favorite on-screen hero. A great night turned out to be a nightmare for Khan.
KKR had an upper hand in the match for most parts, thanks to a great all-round performance from Narine. The Caribbean giant smashed his maiden T20 hundred with the bat and backed it up with a 2-wicket haul and a good catch. His 109(56) helped KKR to post 223 runs on the board.
With the ball, the experienced bowler claimed the wickets of Dhruv Jurel and a dangerous-looking Rovman Powell. He also claimed a good catch to dismiss Sanju Samson. Despite the sensational efforts from the WI player, KKR could not clinch a win and lost the match by two wickets.
