Ace Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah recently became a father. His wife, Sanjana Ganesan, gave birth to a baby boy on September 4. In a heartwarming video, Shaheen Afridi was seen handing over a gift to his opposite number and congratulating the new father. Bumrah looked quite overwhelmed on receiving the gift as he thanked the left-arm pacer for his 'sweet' gesture.

In the video, which is going viral on social media, Shaheen could be heard saying: "Allah usko hamesha khush rakhe aur naya Bumrah bane [May God always keep your child happy and may he become the new Bumrah one day]."
For the unversed, Bumrah went back to India after playing the Group A fixture against Pakistan to attend the birth of his first child. Mohammed Shami stepped in for the 29-year-old pacer in the match against Nepal. Bumrah went on to announce the birth of his baby boy via a post on his Instagram account. The first-time father revealed in the post that the name of the adorable one - Angad Jasprit Bumrah.
"Our little family has grown, and our hearts are fuller than we could ever imagine! This morning, we welcomed out little boy, Angad Jasprit Bumrah, into the world. We are over the moon and can't wait for everything this new chapter of our lives brings with it," Bumrah wrote in his Instagram post.
The talismanic seamer will have a key role to play for India in the coming months, with prestigious tournaments like the ongoing Asia Cup and the subsequent ODI World Cup up for grabs.
