It didn't play the way we thought it would: Masood

Pakistan continued their dismal run even in the red-ball cricket as they succumbed to Bangladesh in the Rawalpindi Test. The visitors experienced a batting collapse on Day 5 as the hosts registered their first Test win against Pakistan. Several critics have named the loss as the new low for Pakistan cricket as the Bangla Tigers won a Test against Pakistan after 14 attempts.

“(Playing with four fast bowlers) Look, I mean, never to make it an excuse, but it didn't play the way we thought it would. Number one. Number two, there were also other factors in the game. Like we lost half a day in the first day. So then when it's four and a half days or four days, you think that's going to be the fast amend that, that do the bulk of the overs,” said Pakistan skipper, Shan Masood after the game.
