Yashasvi Jaiswal's phenomenal performance in India's ongoing series against England has not only grabbed headlines but also drawn admiration from his Rajasthan Royals teammate Jos Buttler. Despite Jaiswal's stellar form coming at the expense of England, Buttler couldn't help but express his delight for the young cricketer.

Jaiswal's recent exploits in Test cricket have been nothing short of extraordinary. Scoring back-to-back double centuries in the second and third Tests against England, along with an impressive 80 in the first, the 22-year-old cricketer is on the road to become one of India's up-and-coming stars. His unbeaten 214 in the third Test not only powered India to a record victory but also saw him equal the record for the most sixes in a Test innings.

Opening together for Rajasthan Royals, Buttler has watched the young Indian cricketer from close quarters. During the 2023 IPL season, Jaiswal's explosive batting overshadowed even Buttler's performances, as he scored 625 runs in 14 matches at a mind-boggling strike rate of 163.61.

Buttler put up an Instagram story after his IPL teammate scored his second double-century. Despite England being on the receiving end of Jaiswal's brilliance, Buttler couldn't suppress his joy for his teammate. "Shame he's doing it against England but very hard not to be so happy for @yashasvijaiswal28. Getting everything he deserves from his talent, hunger, and work ethic. WHAT A STAR!"

Retiring hurt after crossing his century, he returned on Day 4 to accelerate India's innings with an additional 110 runs. His innings included 14 fours and 12 sixes.

As the series moves to Ranchi, the Mumbai cricketer will look to take over the England bowlers yet again and guide his side to another glittering win.
