The third and final Test of the series between Australia and Pakistan has been nothing short of a cliffhanger in Sydney. All the five days saw a see-saw battle between both the teams. However, this Test match was special for the "David Warner" reason. The veteran opener played his last match for his nation at his home ground. After the match, in what was the true sportsmanship of the highest order, the Pakistan skipper Shan Masood gifted Warner with a signed jersey of batting stalwart Babar Azam. Notably, the jersey was signed by the whole Pakistan team. The visiting side requested Warner to come over to the stage during the post-match presentation to do the honours. Thereafter, Masood congratulated the southpaw on his contributions to the game and wished him luck in his future endeavours.

"I want to give a token of appreciation and a bit of gift for David Warner. Can you please come on the stage. Thank You So Much. We as a team thought of giving you Babar Azam shirt with signatures of all players and all the best for all the future endeavours," said Masood in the post-match presentation.

It is worth mentioning that David Warner displayed his vintage class and smacked a deserving fifty. On completion of the landmark in what was an emotional moment, he hugged his teammate Marnus Labuschagne amid a standing ovation from his fans and teammates as well. Eventually, this marked a fairytale finish to his Test career.
