Pakistan cricketer Shan Masood tied the knot with Nische Khan in an intimate Nikah ceremony on January 22 in the northwestern city of Peshawar. The event was attended by the couple's close friends, family members and a few cricket personalities.
The 33-year-old wore a crisp white kurta and trousers while the bride donned an elegant sky blue outfit, embellished with silver embroidery. She completed her look with pink and white flower jewelry. As per reports, Nische's Rukhsati will take place in Peshawar, while Masood will host a Valima reception for his friends and family in Karachi on January 27.
A number of pictures and videos from Masood’s wedding have surfaced on various social media platforms. Meanwhile, a number of cricketers, including Kamran Akmal and Shahid Afridi, attended the ceremony.
Speaking of Masood, he was named the vice-captain of Pakistan for the three-match ODI series against New Zealand after Shadab Khan was ruled out due to an injury he suffered in the Big Bash League (BBL).
Masood has played 28 Tests, six ODIs and 19 T20Is. He was also a part of Pakistan's 2022 T20 World Cup squad. He made his Test debut against South Africa in 2013, whereas he was handed the international cap in ODIs and T20Is in 2019 and 2022 respectively. He recently signed a two-year contract with Yorkshire County Cricket Club.
