‘Wish I could have seen it live’ - Shashi Tharoor on Sanju Samson’s rampaging knock against Bangladesh

Team India registered an emphatic victory against Bangladesh in the third T20I of the recently concluded series. The Men in Blue completed the clean sweep, defeating the visitng side by comprehensive margins across all three T20Is.
The third T20I, which was played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, belonged to Sanju Samson, who scored 111 off just 47 deliveries with the help of eight sixes and 11 boundaries. His performance impressed Indian politician Shashi Tharoor, who lauded the Kerala batter's performance and expressed his regret not being able to witness his knock from the venue.

India defeat Bangladesh by 133 runs to claim 3-0 win
Speaking of the game, India batted first and amassed a record total of 297 on the back of Samson's 111 runs and captain Suryakumar Yadav's blistering knock of 75 off just 35. All-rounders Riyan Parag (34 off 13) and Hardik Pandya (47 off 18) also shone with the bat.
As for Bangladesh, Towhid Hridoy was the top-scorer with his unbeaten 63 off42 while Litton added 42 off 15. However, these two aside, no other batter was able to stay for too long in the middle as Bangladesh were bundled out for 164, with India regsitering a massive 133-run victory.
