'She has won a few hearts' - Simon Doull comments on Hasan Ali's wife during PSL fixture

Former New Zealand cricketer Simon Doull has been in limelight following his recent comments on Pakistan skipper Babar Azam. Doull has once again made headlines for his comments during a Pakistan Super League (PSL) game as he commented on Hasan Ali’s wife.

During the 24th match of the 2023 PSL, Islamabad United took on Multan Sultans, where the former registered a fabulous victory. Doull was in the commentary box during the game as the winning team celebrated their epic triumph.

As the team celebrated, the camera shifted to Hassan Ali’s wife, Samiyaa Arzoo. When Simon Doull said, "She has won it. She has won a few hearts as well I believe. That is superb, absolutely stunning. And the victory."

Islamabad United registered a sensational win against Multan Sultans

Meanwhile, the contest between Islamabad United and Multan Sultans lived up to its billing. Batting first, Multan Sultans notched up 205 in 20 overs. Shan Masood and Tim David were integral to their side in setting up the run chase.

Islamabad United did not get the best of starts as both of their openers were dismissed quite early in the innings. It was the knocks of Colin Munro, skipper Shadab Khan, and the unbeaten knock of Faheem Ashraf that helped the United grab a massive victory as they scored 209 runs and chased the target.

Anwar Ali did put in a valiant effort as he took three wickets and gave away just 33 runs to hinder the run chase, but it was not enough in the end for Multan Sultans. Following the game, Islamabad United find themselves in second place in the standings with 12 points after nine games whereas Multan Sultans sit in third place with eight points from eight matches.
