Recently, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma made a public appearance in Mumbai, where she shared heartwarming insights into her and husband cricketer Virat Kohli's culinary adventures at home. Anushka and Virat, who welcomed their second child, son Akaay, earlier this year, have been dividing their time between London and India.
While Anushka has been primarily based in London with their children, Virat frequently visits them during breaks from his cricketing commitments. Anushka opened up about the couple's efforts to recreate traditional family recipes for their children. Furthermore, she explained that the star couple take turns in the kitchen, striving to replicate dishes the way their mothers prepared them.
"We had this discussion at home that if we don't make the food our moms made at home, then we won't be passing these recipes on to our kids," Anushka said at an event organized by Slurrp Farm.
"So, sometimes I cook, and sometimes my husband cooks, and we try to replicate the way our mothers did. I cheat a little by calling my mom to ask for recipes, but it's so important. It's like you're passing on something valuable to your children," Anushka further added.

I am giving them a sense of control: Anushka Sharma
Besides, Anushka also shed light on the structured routine they maintain for their children. She mentioned that the meal times are fixed and the sleeping schedules have also been decided.
"I am very particular about routine. We travel a lot as a family, and my kids experience many changes in their lives. So, by creating a routine for them, I am giving them a sense of control. Meal times are fixed-no matter where we are, we eat at the same time and sleep at the same time. It helps them regulate themselves much better," the actress further added.
